Today we’d like to introduce you to Storm McCullough.
Storm, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a little girl, there was always a strong desire in my heart that I will make a difference in the world. I remember saying to my mom at a very young age that, I was going to change the world. Being raised by a single mother has shown me many different aspects of life including the true meaning of giving a helping hand to someone in need. One major lesson my mother has taught me is making sure my serving towel is always bigger than my ego. With that in mind, my desire to change the world transformed into my passion for helping others. It is my heart’s desire to take a stance for my ancestors that came before me and to be an example for young girls who look like me, no matter the color of their skin. My motto is: “Together WE change the world, one CHILD at a time.”
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting my own business has been a challenge but I was hesitant to take the leap of faith. After experiencing many hardships, I decided to turn my pain into my passion. The first step was believing nothing is impossible and having hope everything was possible. Many struggles came from within and believing I couldn’t achieve my heart’s desires. The biggest challenge was my mind and not being able to see the impossible when things didn’t look possible. One major milestone was stepping out on faith with absolutely no guidance after experiencing several life experiences that felt like death. While I was married, my husband and I decided to start a business together. Unfortunately, our divorce brought me back to ground zero. The pain from my divorce fueled my drive to take the first step to being my own boss. Three days after my 29th birthday, I started my own business. I made a conscious decision to pour my pain into something I loved and developed a platform where I can allow my passion to grow and serve others. In life, my journey has not been a smooth ride but it allows my navigation system to direct my destination to what I call divine success. Living a life of wealth. I concur with Tony J. Selimi that “True wealth is having a harmonic state of business, financial, physical, relational and spiritual well-being”.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is experiencing my mother’s love. Growing up in a single family home, my mom never allowed my brother and I to go without. I experience the truth definition of strength within a woman.
