Meet Shawn Roberts of Keller Williams Realty Professionals in Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawn Roberts.

Shawn, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Networking brought me into real estate and Keller Williams after a career as a chef. The work ethic and passion that fueled the fire in the kitchen are qualities that I bring to the table working with my clients. A Philadelphia area native who has since lived in Boston and Nantucket before arriving here.

Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all. Real Estate is the ultimate entrepreneurial venture. Entering a field with so much competition and really building a business from the ground up can be grueling. It takes looking the biggest deal you can think of and watching it fall apart – and brushing it off.

Like anything else, doing well in real estate takes dedication and perseverance. It’s that experience that prepares you to have genuine relationships with some of the most successful people in our region. Successful people were once just starting and they worked to get where they are.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Keller Williams Realty Professionals – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Keller Williams has earned multiple award and accolades recently, even attaining the Triple Crown (highest sales volume, sold units and agent count). KW Fort Lauderdale has consistently outperformed the rest of the board in Broward County and we are the leading KW office in the region.

I specialize in residential real estate and work with sellers and buyers with varying needs. My real value is that I my put a maximum amount of effort in for every client no matter the deal. If you are in my general vicinity, you’d know because I would have introduced myself and asked if I could help you. Upfront and honest service is my goal every day.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
This city has more water facing properties than anywhere I have lived. For me, being able to see the water is relaxing.

Least – the traffic, light timing, etc.
