Meet Paige Brown of Paige Alexis’ Wardrobe in Miami Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Brown.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Paige. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
While I was in college, people used to ask me where I got certain items of my outfit or they would give me a compliment on what I was wearing. In the summer, I realized, I needed to focus my energy into what my dreams where instead of pleasing other people. July 2016, Paige Alexis’ Wardrobe was created. Today, I do have a full time job and it does get tough staying consistent but, I realized that you have to put in the hours and plan out your feed or next blog post. As a blogger, I realized I needed to be out on the scene and attend events and make connections with women and men in the industry. As long as I stay focused, I know I will continue on the right path.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
For me, I feel like every path has its bumps in the road or obstacles that you need to get around. When I first started out, it was tough because I saw other bloggers growing so fast and working with brands or I would hear how some bloggers were being compensated. I would think to myself, “What am I doing wrong?” I knew I had to stop focusing on what was going on with other bloggers and focus on building my own brand. Brands weren’t going to compensate me, right off the bat. It’s all about building a connection with them, a friendship too and if there’s compensation in the future than great. If not, it’s good to have that brand as a connect. Consistency, is another struggle for me because if you aren’t staying consistent than your losing followers and people aren’t viewing your profile. Consistency is really KEY! Plan out your feed, blog posts, videos, whatever it is stay on it. If you’re not posting photos, post videos on your story!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Paige Alexis’ Wardrobe is was originally about shoes but I’ve been expanding to doing more posts on outfits and certain articles of clothing. I’m known as always being extra whenever I go out somewhere and that include the mall, movies, the grocery store, etc. As a company, I’m proud of working with the brands that have reached out to me and recently connecting with other bloggers in Miami. The thing that sets me apart from others is my style. I feel that I have a very unique and futuristic style.

What were you like growing up?
When I was little, I was quiet and followed directions. I was peaceful and calm, always in my own world and would never let anyone disturb me when I was. Once I got older, everything changed. I became more outgoing and energetic, I was always laughing or smiling. My interests when I was younger were dance, art and T-ball and then cheer, basketball, fashion, art, cross country and track.
