Today we’d like to introduce you to Miguel Somoza.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After 20 years working in a conglomerate of the entertainment industry, I decided to become independent and open my own entrepreneurship, a company of creation, production and distribution of content, together with my mother, Valeria Palazio, who also has more than three decades of professional experience in the field.
We have just completed one year of having started our business and we are very happy, enthusiastic and grateful, since it has been a year of success.
Our first original productions E/I: Kids Planet and The World is Yours were acquired by Univision.
Our wonderful entertainment series about women Inspiring Beauty, was purchased by NBC and will go on the air for E! Latino and Telemundo. In addition, our first documentary Oh, Dior! to celebrate the 70 years of the brand, it was aired on CNN in Spanish for the Hispanic public of all the United States and Latin America. And, our count down of the most important people and fact of the year, The best of the best, aired on Imagen TV.
Also, we have a great variety of new titles that we are commercializing at this moment, like our vignettes for the World Cup of Soccer Russia 2018.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In fact, it has been a magnificent beginning in which we only have things to thank and celebrate.
We managed to position our brand and that both customers and colleagues in the industry know and recognize us, through a branding campaign in which we use our logo, mirror sunglasses Aviators, in which we are the reflection of the customer needs.
Many people, friends, competitors, buyers, have taken the picture with us and our glasses in a fun game that has become our launch and positioning campaign.
