Meet Meghan (Connolly) Maloof Berdellans of S&S Global Corporation in Downtown and Brickell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meghan (Connolly) Maloof Berdellans.

Meghan, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Years ago, I left a job in the financial industry in New York to pursue my passion for digital marketing. My first clients were a real estate brokerage and a doctor’s office. I was then able to evolve my services by marketing other industries where I led social media projects ranging from the NYC Papal Visit with the Archdiocese of New York/St. Patrick’s Cathedral, made rainbow bagels in Brooklyn go viral while landing them on the Super Bowl (for free!), and even managed to land my 8-pound Shih Tzu Ceili the Puppy as a model in New York Fashion Week multiple times.

Since consulting with a NY Million Dollar Listing broker many years ago, it inspired me to learn more about the industry and earn a real estate license myself. Now, my latest passion is bringing innovative technology to the real estate and relocation sectors with S&S Global. I strongly believe that with the technology boom, the mobility industry has a bright future in business.

Working in the field has given me a true understanding and drive to use social media for awareness of endometriosis, a disease that I have fought for over a decade. I sit as a Director on The Endometriosis Coalition, a Los Angeles based 501(c)3 to raise awareness, ensure women obtain a diagnosis and proper treatment, and I strongly believe the power of cannabis for pain management.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, but that is what keeps you on your toes and everything exciting. When I was working in New York many years ago, I met my husband on Twitter. Never in a million years did I think I would end up living in Miami for the majority of the time and transitioning my business into marketing consulting and real estate. A company switch is one thing, but moving 1000 miles away and becoming a dual industry professional is another thing!

When we were dating, my husband and I were a long distance from 2013-2016, and my move to Miami was halted numerous times due to project opportunities and major surgery. Hurdles like these make you stronger, so I can’t complain!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am part of two businesses: my social media marketing agency and a full-service real estate brokerage specializing in commercial and residential relocation. On the marketing agency side, we specialize in organic social media management as well as influencer marketing. A few of my well-known projects include making the rainbow bagel go viral in 2016, starting a global unicorn food trend, working with the Archdiocese of New York/St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Pope Francis’ visit to the US, and growing my 8lb Shih Tzu Ceili the Puppy into an NYFW model.

On the real estate side, S&S Global is a full-service real estate brokerage specializing in commercial and residential relocation. We focus on Relocation, Real Estate, & Consulting and are passionate about bringing innovative ideas to the mobility sector. We are working on a lot of exciting things!

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My parents and husband are my biggest supporters and I am so grateful for them. Their support keeps me going even when I have a bad day.
