Meet Krystal Nunez of KMN Events Miami in South Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Nunez.

Krystal, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a passion for parties/events and a fascination for the logistics behind them. From the planning, designing, setting up and even attending events, I love everything about them. Because of this, I am currently studying Supply Chain Management at Miami Dade College to continue furthering my knowledge.

Six years ago, I started doing event coordinating and event planning with other companies and that’s when I knew I wanted to do this full time. I went solo about two to three years ago and it was the best and most rewarding decision I have ever made. I am forever grateful that I have a great support system in my family and friends and that they always encourage me to pursue my passions.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Yes and no. Being in this industry, and more specifically in a city where this industry is so popular, you have many companies providing similar services. I always try and set myself apart from the rest by connecting with my clients on a personal level and offering as much as I can to ensure their event encompasses their vision. As I said previously, I’m currently studying Supply Chain Management because I always want to be up to date with everything so I know that I am providing my clients with the best possible service. I love what I do more than anything so I would take the bumpiest roads all over again if it meant I got to be where I am today.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the KMN Events Miami story. Tell us more about it.
KMN Events Miami’s role, in any event, is more specific to your big day. The services I offer vary from assisting with planning an event, setting up an event, and even taking everything down.

For full day-of coordination services, I arrive early to manage the timeline and make sure that the client’s vision has and is coming to life. I am the liaison between all the vendors for the event and I smooth over any obstacles that may arise so my clients never have to worry and can enjoy a stress-free event.

I also provide event set up and pick up for clients. My main job is to execute all the planning work they’ve completed up to the day of the event.

I specialize in anything from weddings, birthdays, dinners, social gatherings and holiday parties, to corporate events.

I’m proud to be in a community that is so diverse and that I get to meet so many different people. From clients to vendors that I get to call friends. Everyone that I encounter helps and encourages me to continue pursuing my passions every day and I couldn’t be more excited to continue growing my business and seeing what the future has in store for KMN Events Miami.
