Meet King Wallace of Mecca Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to King Wallace.

King, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I graduated college with a degree in the audio field, so I’ve always been interested in the entertainment business. Living in Miami it’s easy to see how profitable a good concierge service could be, and I’ve made and have a lot of good friends who fell right into that market. Whenever they come to town they want to have an amazing time so I teamed up with my cousin and we put together all of our resources to be able to provide that lifestyle people come to town looking for. Providing services for photoshoots, throwing events, yachts, luxury rentals, VIP tables, etc. We try our best to be the one stop shop for all entertainment needs while in the city so all our clients have to do is enjoy the fun.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothings have not been completely smooth along the way, but we continue to grow and get better within our markets. I’ve gone through things from contracts being broken with celebrities to small mishaps with furniture at the event. However big or small the issue, the main goal has always been to find the solution to the problem and move on as quickly as possible. Use everything as a learning lesson good or bad and never dwell on it.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Mecca hosts photoshoots, throw events, books yachts, luxury rentals, or VIP tables. We specialize and are known for the parties we’ve thrown. What I’m most proud of is the energy the company brings and in fact, that is exactly what sets us apart. The energy at our events is different from your typical parties. We provide an undeniable vibe that you cannot find everywhere. Something that brings all guests at the event together. I’ve seen a lot of big names and beautiful people on the outside within the city and it is not hard to find them, but I don’t just want big names and beautiful people on the outside that will come to the party to stand around and look cute. We want beautiful people on the outside as well as the inside, the type of people that want to be the life of the party and not worried about judgment or scared to show their true character. We take pride in having that type of energy at our events and feel like it is an amazing characteristic that not a lot of companies can provide.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Yes, I’ve had some amazing people around me that all have helped the dream become more obtainable. People such as Big Jay, Fever, A2F Will, Chewy, Tamani, Slyver, Dino, AllSnap Media, etc. all of these people all provide service in helping grow as well as helping us as a company be able to maintain. And I’m so grateful for everyone that has helped in the past and continue to help just so we can make our mark within the industry.
