Meet Dr. Jacqueline Ackerina of Dr. Organized in Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Jacqueline Ackerina.

For over a decade, Dr. Ackerina has been creating storage solutions to cluttered spaces for family and friends. After struggling for years as a frustrated commuter and an underutilized employee, she decided to walk away from her corporate job to pursue her true passion. She began studying the effects of maintaining organized surroundings as it relates to human productivity. You see, she is an actual doctor who holds a Ph.D. from Florida Atlantic University. What she learned from the research and her deep interest in remaining physically active at work inspired her to become a professional organizer and productivity consultant. In October 2016, she became the founder of Dr. Organized. Her company was created with one main objective: to bring her clients Peace of Mind in Record Time.

As a professional organizer, she prides herself on getting the job done quickly and efficiently. After all, she is originally from New York and currently commutes to South Florida where the company is headquartered. Her passion, expertise, and vision have sparked an increase in business taking her to many cities throughout the US for organizing projects. She acknowledges that in our busy lives there are always certain things we’d love to accomplish but haven’t either the time or energy to complete. This is where her versatile skills come into play. Ask her, “Can you do…” and her response is always, “I can do anything!” Her services range from organizing online billing for individuals to home projects such as space design, event planning, donate/discard, move in/move out and a host of other projects for individual, residential, and commercial clients.

Dr. Organized has written articles for magazines, conducted organizing and productivity workshops in various venues, has a strong presence on social media, and many rave reviews from clients who love her professional services. She is a proud member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB). When she is not working with clients, Dr. Organized is working out at the gym or traveling with her life partner and best friend, Paul.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have been blessed with many wonderful clients who are truly appreciative of my trustworthiness and calming demeanor. Thus far, starting my own company has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Dr. Organized is a professional organizer and productivity coach. She serves individual, residential, and commercial clients. Jacqueline offers a number of professional organizing services for individuals such as bill pay setup, productivity coaching, file digitizing, life safety planning for children and seniors, mail sorting, time management, and going paperless to name a few. Our home organizing services range from packing/unpacking, closet organizing, cabinet arranging, discarding and donating projects, event planning, home office setup, downsizing to storage solutions. The business services we provide include file archiving, furniture setup, inventory management, warehousing, and conducting organizing workshops for employees.

While we have been in business for less than one year, most of our clients require residential organizing before and after relocating. What I am most proud of, as a company, is that I am single-handedly making a positive impact on the lives of individuals, and they are all sharing it with their families and friends. What set me apart from others are my work ethic, trustworthiness, and my ability to bring Peace of Mind in Record Time!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Miami-Dade and Broward Counties have many large, international cities with a great deal of diversity. A professional organizing company such as mine thrives in this environment because individuals and businesses are consistently moving in, out, and around these parts. I would certainly recommend larger cities as a starting point for new businesses.

  • Three-hour (minimum) organizing session ranges from $50-$80 per hour.
