Dr. Del Valle and Dr. Merlino grew up in South Florida. Both physicians are graduates of the Mount Sinai Residency program. It is there that they developed their belief that comprehensive primary care is the key to great health. It is upon this foundation that the physicians built a system of medical companies that are designed to meet a myriad of health needs. Over the years, they developed one of the largest and most respected internal medicine practices in Miami Beach. Their roster of medical entities also includes a hospitalist company (Beach Medical Associates) with its own team of physicians available 24 hours a day at Mount Sinai Medical Center- benefiting patients with personalized admission and hospital care. In keeping with their goal of facilitating patient care, they developed a statewide network that allows hospice nurses the ability to reach physicians after hours to dispense medication immediately to their patients. Great patient care also means focusing on a healthy lifestyle — PrivaMedis Aesthetics and Wellness is a cutting-edge institute dedicated to improving a patient’s appearance and overall well-being. In the next few months, the institute will provide stem cell procedures and treatments developed by a world-renowned surgeon. By employing this wealth of medical resources, the physicians realized that they can offer patients services that far exceed those of most local concierge medicine practices.
