Meet Diana Briceño of Diana Gets Social

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Briceño.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Diana. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I used to suffer from a very deep depression and survived a suicide attempt which made me question the direction I was taking my life.

Fast-forward more emotional breakdowns & breakthroughs as well as explorations of entrepreneurship. Eventually, I decided that what truly made me happy, besides learning to take care of myself, was to ditch the 9 to 5 and set boundaries.

So I quit my job, moved out of a toxic household. And started being more firm about my worth.

From there, Diana Gets Social was born to not just help people & lifestyle brands build their Instagram but also navigate the mindset hurdles along the way.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not. There’s been a ton of dealing with imposter syndrome as well as the depression many entrepreneurs face down the road.

The fact I was living in a very toxic household before was also a major hurdle for me up until two weeks ago when I moved out.

The most difficult part is to make something out of nothing when you’re starting off in an already financially tight position. Having a badass mindset is your #1 “weapon” against your internal struggles & outside judgment.

I am a social media manager & consultant specializing in Instagram community building & graphic design. I’m known for the deep level of intimacy I create with my audience by sharing in a very raw format about overcoming the challenges in my life.

I’m proud to offer 1-on-1 coaching for personal brands & social media management for local heart-centered businesses in a way that digs beyond superficial metrics. I help people see all pieces to the puzzle, not just with what’s blocking them emotionally but strategic elements in their marketing that they are unsure how to grasp.

My desire to overdeliver, empathy, & creative yet strategic approach is what sets me apart from the crowd.

What are your plans for the future?
I quit my full-time agency job in December 2018. That means 2019 is the year to scale things to the next level.

That means, becoming an even more insanely efficient one-woman team until I can eventually start to hire a small team by the end of 2019 or start of 2020.
