Meet David Aizer of Elite Media Coaching and The CW South Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Aizer.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been a TV host and a public speaker for 20 years. In that time I’ve hosted thousands of hours of television and given hundreds of speeches. I’ve hosted shows for Nickelodeon, CBS, the Onion News Network and more. I hosted “The Morning Show” on The CW South Florida in 2009-2010 and have been fortunate to remain with the company.

While I continue to be a TV host, writer, and producer for The CW South Florida, I’ve also founded “Elite Media Coaching” to help South Floridians improve their public speaking, on-camera performance, and overall communication skills…whether it be for their careers or for one-on-one interactions. I work with CEO’s, entrepreneurs, broadcasters, and anybody else looking to grow their brand and business, and improve their confidence, via dynamic communication.

Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve been blessed to have a wonderful career that has taken me from Miami to Orlando to Los Angeles to New York City and back to South Florida. However, in January 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma on my face, which spread into the lymph nodes of my neck. That was a terrifying process that included two major surgeries on my face and neck, a PET scan, multiple CAT scans and brain MRI’s, multiple oncology appointments, countless vials of blood drawn, and a two-year immunotherapy clinical trial. I’m proud to say that three-and-a-half years later I am cancer free!

As if facing my own mortality and being consumed with thoughts of death wasn’t challenging enough, my career was also impacted due to the major surgeries on my face and neck. It took a while for my face and neck to heal and while my face doesn’t quite look the same, and I have some scarring, I believe it gives me character. In fact, I have embraced the entire ordeal and have shared my story on television and as a public speaker. I’ve spoken on behalf of the American Cancer Society and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and have become an advocate in the fight against melanoma. I’m even writing a book about my journey called “A Hypochondriac’s Guide To Beating Cancer.”

This life-changing experience has given me a profound appreciation for all that I have and all that I need to become.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Elite Media Coaching and The CW South Florida – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Whether you’re an executive looking to grow your brand through public speaking and TV appearances, an aspiring TV host or video blogger, or someone who wants to communicate better and exude more self-confidence, ELITE MEDIA COACHING will help you thrive.

I bring 20 YEARS of TV hosting and public speaking experience (including THOUSANDS of hours on camera and on stage) to my customized media coaching program. I work with clients via 1-on-1 and group coaching sessions, broadcasting workshops, video tutorials and more. The sessions can be done in person or remotely and they will empower you to build a dynamic and unforgettable presence!

What sets me apart from others in this space is my experience. No other media coaches have logged as many hours on stage and on set that I have. And I’m still working on TV, so I continue to build on my experience. Additionally, what I believe sets me apart is how much I truly care about my clients. They have my cell phone number. They can reach me between sessions and before they give presentations or appear on TV. I’m always available for a pep talk!

I’m most proud of the progress my clients make. To see somebody (no matter how successful they are) evolve from being a terrified public speaker to someone who excels at it makes me incredibly happy. Please feel free to read the testimonial page at to see why I do this!
