Today we’d like to introduce you to Dave Arjune.
Dave, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a recovering alcoholic, I needed something to occupy my time. So, I started studying photography, picked up a camera and here I am four years later running my own portrait business.
Has it been a smooth road?
I was born with cerebral palsy so my hands shake (hence the name Shake Stillz). My biggest struggle is being able to prove to people that even though my hands shake im more than capable to masterfully capture a still photograph.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I’m a well-rounded photographer but I specialize in headshot and lifestyle photography. I’m proud that during my short career so far I’ve been already published twice. I think what sets me apart is being able to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera and build lasting relationships.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Because of the control that social media has I do see more and more people valuing the importance of a professional headshot.
