Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea De La Cruz.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Andrea. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
“One picture, worth ten thousand words” – Chinese proverb.
I have learned that beautiful memories can sometimes be the only driving force in times of life’s struggle, just as I also believe that capturing the perfect moment can give everlasting joy and happiness.
I’m a mother of 3 amazing boys (yeah no girls for me!!) and wife to a SuperMan who supports me in everything I set my soul to do. Since the age of 9, I’ve had a great obsession for photography, that’s when my mother gave me my first camera! Throughout the years and personal experiences I’ve learned that every moment no matter how small can transform your life, that is why I want to make sure that I capture those small or big moments for you! A simple quick glance at a picture can bring an emotional connection that is worth more than words can ever express. My passion makes me understand the need to help you tell your stories in a way that is timeless.
I was born in Puerto Rico, raised in Dominican Republic. I’ve lived in New York, Orlando and now Miami, so much cultural diversity has provided me with amazing insights on how best to capture your life’s best moments.
5 things I am obsessed with:
- My Ateam
- Full Moon
- Sunsets & Sunrises
- Making women feel beautiful and empowered.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with In Common Photography – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I love lifestyle photography because it captures the real essence of life, your daily routines and all the favorite things you love to do. I specialize in women’s portraits (including lifestyle and maternity), family portraits, intimate weddings and engagements, with a preference for natural, candid and fun.
As a woman I know how much we cherish and love to create new memories with every given opportunity thus with my professional touch, your beautiful moments are sure to stay alive and preserved in the sands of time.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love, love South Florida… I’m originally from NY and coming to Miami was one of the best decision I made in my life. I love the weather, the colors, the palm trees, the diversity that Miami has to offer can only be found here!!
Miami also reminds me of my native islands of Puerto Rico and DOminican Republic (where I grew up).
