Meet Vince Lefton of Bulldog Adjusters

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vince Lefton.

Vince, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We started in 2009 literally knocking on homeowners doors. We felt that people spend thousands of dollars a year on insurance premiums but have no idea what their policy covers or how it works. That’s when we decided to create Bulldog Adjusters. We fight for homeowners to get the money they need to make repairs and fast.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Navigating the insurance claims process took some getting used to. Bulldog Adjusters is up and running now and we have a full office of over 20 employees, but in the beginning, it was just us. Two guys with a vision. In hindsight, I’m glad for one thing: We asked a lot of questions, we found mentors, and we brushed off our mistakes. That made us who we are today: Experienced professionals with the zest for life and thirst for adventure that is known only to entrepreneurs.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Bulldog Adjusters – what should we know?
We’re a public adjusting firm. Whenever a homeowner has property damage, they go file an insurance claim, right? Well, often times, that insurance company is not going to give them the amount they need to realistically restore their home to its original quality.

That’s where we come in. Bulldog Adjuster’s files damage claims for homeowners. We know the ins and outs of home insurance companies. Our job is to take the headache of filing a damage claim of the homeowner’s shoulders.

We’re different because we don’t stop until they get their check in the mail. We even check in down the line just to see how repairs are going.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
We’re thankful for the employees who have been with us since the beginning and we’re grateful for our families, especially our wives. Our wives have been our source of support and comfort and we deeply admire them for putting up with us this whole time, through all the ups and downs of starting a new business as young entrepreneurs.
