Meet Andi Dyal of ANJE Soirees in South Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andi Dyal.

Andi, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I moved from Miami to New York City to attend New York University and after graduating, set out to fulfill my passion for event planning. I began my career at Sports Illustrated where I took part in the organization of the annual swimsuit party, in addition to multiple city-wide events. After some time with the company, I was offered a position at Condé Nast. It was here that I took part in an abundance of high-end projects ranging from the multimillion dollar FashionRocks, to charity foundation events and numerous fashion shows. I blossomed in this high-end fashion world and gained an immense infatuation for classic and stylish parties.

In 2006, I returned home to Miami and brought the experience I gained in that fast-paced environment back to South Florida. Upon my return, I worked for both a local catering company and as well as in the hotel world. It was at that time that I realized there was a strong need for an edgy events firm in Miami with quick response times, professionalism, poise and true organization. In June of 2008, I opened ANJE Soirees…10 years ago this month!

Has it been a smooth road?
With anything worth doing in life, there are struggles. Starting ANJE Soirees in the middle of one of the greatest recessions in our countries history, was not exactly an easy way to start the show. Dedication to my work and constantly continuing to push the envelope and work harder, keeps me on my toes and able to handle anything that comes my way. To be successful in this industry, you need to be ready to quickly handle ANYTHING that comes up, with a smile on your face and without exhibiting any stress to your client.

ANJE Soirees is an event consultation firm specializing in luxury weddings, corporate events, and other social occasions. All events produced by us are unique, personalized, and meticulously organized. We are known for our consistent professionalism as well as speedy response time and extreme organization. The thing I am most proud of with this firm, is the lasting friendships I have made with so many of my clients. Staying in touch for years after their events and seeing their families grow and lives change, gives me such gratification. You become such a key part of the start of these couple’s lives together and the growth of their families! That’s an extremely intimate role to play and that’s why it doesn’t just end when the event does. We genuinely care about our client’s happiness and that’s what drives me day in and day out.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Miami is a fabulous city for an event consultation firm! This is PARTY CENTRAL! Every night of the week, in any neighborhood, there is an event going on. In addition to that, so many people come here for destination events, that they need a lot of guidance from someone local and so that’s become a huge market for us as well. It’s a very competitive market, so starting out can be tricky, but if you stick to your work and make it your priority, success is inevitable.
