I was born in Portugal, moved to the US when I was only seven years old. My background is Portuguese and Cape Verdean. For those who may not know Cape Verde, It’s a little island off the coast of Africa; I love my culture! I grew up in Connecticut. I moved to South Florida 20 years ago with Enterprise Rent a car as the regional marketing manager for South Florida. I spent most of my career in corporate America. Most recently, I worked for a roofing company in Fort Lauderdale as the senior VP of Marketing and Business Development. After seven years, I decided to bet on myself, and Xandra Marketing was born.
I am married to the most incredible and supportive man Andrae, and blessed to be the mother of my 3 amazing boys Kyle, Nicholas and Takim. We are a blended family with two beautiful daughters, Allahsia and Tamecca. We have 5 children all together; very blessed.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Finding your passion in life, let alone following it, is no easy task. I’ve been very blessed to have the networking alliances I have. My move has been very rewarding.

1. What does Xandra do?
Xandra Marketing is a full-service marketing firm based in South Florida with a focus on coaching and consulting.
