Meet Abigail Haseley of Slayanddripcollection in Broward County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Haseley.

Abigail, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, I used to work this 9-to-5 job and I used to work 14 hours every single day because I wanted it to be rich. But then, I realize that I’m putting so much energy into somebody else company and I could be putting my energy into my own business. So, as of May 2018, I started working towards my business selling hair extensions. I always wanted to start my own and become an entrepreneur but nobody would help me. So, I did all my research on everything I even made
my own website. As of June 2018, I launch my business selling hair extensions.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road was never smooth as a baby bottom, the road will never be easy. I had to go through obstacles and take a lot of losses in silence. I had plenty of times I ask others for help and they ignored me. But if you can’t handle going through that, then starting a business is not meant for you. Only the tough ones survive. I had plenty of sleepless nights and praying and money being lost but here I am today to tell you “if you put your mind to it, you can do it“. There were always people who didn’t support me and they regret now. People always support whoever trending and that’s just how life goes but I didn’t let that stop me.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Well, my business name is Slay and drip collection and I specialize in selling hair extensions mostly everybody knows me as from selling hair. The proudest moment there, me and my company went through together, it is after three months, I sold out completely. When that happens, I just knew I had to focus on my business been more, so I decided to quit my job and become a full-time entrepreneur. What sets me apart from others is me being me, I never follow the crowd or the trend that’s going on. I work hard for what I got and I never give up no matter the losses I take.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always a shy person, I was always quiet, I was always you know misunderstood, I used to do a lot of sports to stay active but I was always smart and I always knew that one day, I will my own company. I always knew that I wanted to inspire young kids to let them know if you want something, go get it. Don’t depend on others to help you if you work hard, you will get to where you wanna be.
