Life and Work with Jennifer Molina

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Molina.

Jennifer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started blogging at the end of 2016 without a clue on what blogging was. All I knew was that I wanted to share my budget lifestyle. How I traveled on a budget, where I shopped and all the hidden gems in Miami. I slowly grew a genuine following without any promotions. My audience was intrigued with topics such as; finding out what free events were going on in Miami. I just shared my story in the most raw way possible, I wrote my blog posts as if I were speaking to my friends.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In the beginning, I had no idea where my blog would lead to, who would read? I remember a close friend of mine telling me that others were making fun of me for starting a blog. They would mock my grammar, but did that stop me? no. I kept going and now I have close to 2k followers. Some advice I can give to women is to keep going, never doubt yourself. If you are doing something that brings you joy, please keep going!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Budgetgirlife – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Budgetgirlife is a blog about living your life while not breaking the bank. I encourage women and men to use their resources, find out when the free museum days are. Go outside, enjoy your nearest park. I also LOVE sharing my passion for thrift shopping. Not only is it fun to find new pieces, but thrifting is also great for the environment! REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE!

Spend less and do more! Go explore, there are so many free things to do in your city! What sets me apart, is that I share my little tips and tricks.

Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
My mother has always been a hard-working woman, she never depending on anyone and I believe that really influenced my way of working. I will always give anything a try, even if I do not succeed.
