Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Franco from Lennox and Grace Candle Company
Hi Andrea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Our company, Lennox and Grace Candle Company started during the middle of the pandemic, one month after I got engaged and had started planning our wedding. I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding– all candles. The only problem? I couldn’t find candles that met my expectations.
You see before Lennox & Grace Candle Company hit the market, the only candles available were regular paraffin-wax candles (which burn quickly, messy, and toxic) and LED candles which can be bulky, too yellow, and not real–they just didn’t align with my vision. What I wanted was a real, long-lasting candle, that looked elegant throughout the evening.
After looking around and talking to other vendors, my mom and I couldn’t believe there was anything that matched our exact vision! There was a gap in the market and with my background in advertising and events, and my mom’s background with management, that’s when we decided to take the plunge and fill the gap!
We spent months researching the best products with the highest quality, long nights of trial and error, and countless pounds of wax stacked up in our living room later, we finally hit the perfect recipe and decided to officially launch our business.
People may say that starting in the events industry is a no-go, but honestly we have been blessed with our clients (planners, hotels, and other vendors) that have trusted us from the start and our business has grown quickly thanks to word of mouth and through the power of social media. We truly pride ourselves in giving 150% to every client and every event regardless of how big or small it may be.
The first thing people ask us when they see our candles is “Is it sand? Is it sugar? What is it? So cool!” and honestly, we love it. We love the curiosity that always sparks the best conversations with people.
Right now we are in the process of launching several collections that we have been working on for the past few months. We are so excited to see the new heights we will reach with our business and the magic we will continue to create with our clients.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Like any new business, we have been met with many challenges. I would be lying to you if I said we didn’t. We started our business in 2020 right smack in the middle of the pandemic. Events were non-existent and all we really had to hold onto was our faith. We were put in this moment for a reason. We knew that with new safety precautions, events would eventually start up again, but investing time, product, and money into something that couldn’t be put to work immediately was honestly terrifying.
It was also a challenge to break into the industry as a legitimate vendor, especially when you have a brand new product that people may have never heard of. I mean, sand-like candles that burn for over eight hours? Yeah, right!
It’s definitely been a road full of growth, patience, learning how to market ourselves properly, and definitely educating our clients and our audience on not only what we do, but who we are.

Lennox & Grace Candle Company has taken off a lot quicker than we expected, and we are immensely grateful for the opportunity. We are proud to be a growing business which was created during a very difficult time for everyone, by a mother-daughter dynamic duo, who trusted their ideas and believed that with faith and hard work we could achieve success.
Our luxury candles are the first eco-friendly, long-lasting REAL candles burning for over eight hours to hit the market in Florida with sizes varying up to 36” in height! We take immense pride that these long-lasting candles are eco-friendly and don’t harm our environment, which is at the core of our values as a company. Because our candles are ‘sand-like’ with our granule wax, our candles are also incredibly safe as they self-extinguish in case they tip over.
